Meet Ilaria

Ciao, I'm Ilaria, I'm Italian and I always loved cooking with my Grandma. When I was twenty years old I decided to learn properly how to cook and I started a year course with one of my favorite chefs in Milan. Cooking remained just a passion until covid time when I started my home catering business. It’s lovely but I could not taste any of the biscuit base and I thought the flavours can be stronger, the coffee flavour on top was just right, pretty good size for 2 people too.

Tasty but a bit thin

It was a very nice Tiramisu, but for 2 ? It was more of an oversized portion for 1 as it wasn't very deep at all.

Described as a portion for two but it was less generous than the other Tiramisu in the Home Cooks catalog which really did make two good servings. As with the other, I missed the Marsala wine but as a non alcoholic tiramisu it was really moreish!

Not sure if we received a bad batch, or if this was how the tiramisu was supposed to taste. Unfortunately, it was totally underwhelming, lacking any coffee flavour at all. No sponge or biscuit either, It was just a nice, snack size, creamy filling with a cocoa dusting.
