Meet Ilaria

Ciao, I'm Ilaria, I'm Italian and I always loved cooking with my Grandma. When I was twenty years old I decided to learn properly how to cook and I started a year course with one of my favorite chefs in Milan. Cooking remained just a passion until covid time when I started my home catering business. I don't sell just food but a genuine Italian experience that I bring to your table from my original Granma's recipe.

Authentic Italian Food

The chicken was soft and succulent and the potatoes were so fluffy and light, perfect for absorbing the sauce, which was the traditional tomato sauce which defines Chicken Cacciatore. All so good that even my husband who maintains he never likes nor willingly eats anything with a tomato-ey sauce loved this dish. Tracy U.

My speciality is Italian cuisine

What is your favourite dish to eat and why?

Chicken, I love chicken In any way, Simply roasted, with curry....... actually, any kind of chicken recipe. I think I love chicken so much because it was the forever Saturday dish of my childhood. My mum went to the local food market every Saturday morning and she always came back with a roast chicken, with crisp and freshly sliced prosciutto cotto (ham).

What is your favourite dish to cook and why?

My favorite dish to cook is Lasagna, I learned to do the perfect Bolognese with my best friend's aunt who owned a restaurant on the Emilia Romagna hills. Lasagna is the favorite dish of my two kids.

What is your proudest cooking memory?

My proudest cooking memory is from Sardinia, where my cousin lives and where he got married. My Aunt called me to help her with catering, according to her it would have been simple among a few close friends in her fabulous garden. I found myself cooking for 60 people, from finger food to a wide range of delicious mains, it was amazing.
