Chicken Cacciatore with Creamy Mashed Potatoes

🔆Calories per Portion:375 Kcal🔆

Cacciatora chicken is an authentic Italian recipe with slow-cooked chicken in a rustic and rich tomato sauce, seasoned with herbs and black olive. Served with creamy potato mash. A delicious dish that will make you want to mop up the plate with bread - and I recommend that you do!

Meet Ilaria

Ciao, I'm Ilaria, I'm Italian and I always loved cooking with my Grandma. When I was twenty years old I decided to learn properly how to cook and I started a year course with one of my favorite chefs in Milan. Cooking remained just a passion until covid time when I started my home catering business. I don't sell just food but a genuine Italian experience that I bring to your table from my original Granma's recipe.

Excellent Meal

I love this meal so I thought I would order a large portion and it was well worth it to get a larger portion of chicken. Unfortunately there wasn't as much potato as there used to be before they added some vegetables into the meal. In fact the portion of potato was tiny and I would rather not have had the vegetables and have more mashed potatoes

Perfection

This was my first HomeCooks meal and I’m glad that I started with this. It was honestly one of the most amazing pieces of chicken that I’ve ever eaten and fell straight off the bone. The mashed potato was lump-free. Absolutely perfect in every which way. Can I please please please just eat this every day of the week?!?

Would have liked a slightly larger portion as the regular isn’t quite enough for a hungry one person🤣. Very nice, I like the balanced recipe with mash & vegs. Not a great fan of olives which make the dish a bit salty to my tastebuds, but I would definitely have this meal again
