Meet Pear
Pachara Street Food

Hello my name is Pear and I grew up in a small town in Thailand called Sam Roy Yod. My mum says I started cooking at 8 when I flipped a fried egg onto my arm. I moved to London in 2009 and studied international cuisine. I have worked in a variety of kitchens including hotels, patisseries, and JApanese and Thai restaurants. Now I have taken my love for pan-Asian food and started cooking authentic Asian dishes in markets and for private parties.

My Review

I loved the noodles in the lovely sauce and the broad beans Etc, i just was not keen on the cabbage underneath the noodles, but everyone has their preference, good portion size and reheats well in the microwave.

Not so good the second time round?

This is my second time of ordering this dish. A very distinct flavour of Ginger that throw the dish off this time around!? It also, didn't warm up so well in the microwave. a bit sticky and gloopy? A regular size portion was quite small. It was enough for a light lunch, but defiantly not for a main meal.

Too salty but Vegetarian version better than chicken version

The vegetarian version was ok but I was hoping it would be as good as Wagamama's. But it was not!The Yakisoba with chicken was awful. Way to salty and the chicken pieces had bone and fat - honestly the pieces of chicken I would have fed to the dog! Won't be buying again.

Considering this was a large portion, I didn’t find it particularly large and perhaps low value for money. Overall I found it enjoyable, but I found it a little on the sweet side with quite a strong ginger flavour. This would pair well with a protein, but I feel like I could throw something like this together myself for less cost.
