Introducing one of my personal favourites, the traditional Lithuanian delicacy "Zemaiciu Pancake."

This dish is prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, making it a true labour of love. The filling is made from a blend of creamy mashed potatoes and juicy muhsroom, the potato exterior is pan-fried to achieve a delicate crispy outside. It is then elevated by the addition of a rich mushroom sauce and a dollop of sour cream, creating the perfect balance of flavours. The final touch of fresh dill adds a subtle yet distinct herbal note that brings the dish to life.

Heating Instructions

As our food is hand-made by our chefs, these reheating instructions are a guide. Check your food is piping hot throughout before serving.

❄️ FROM CHILLED

MICROWAVE: Remove the lid and place it loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 3-4 minutes or until piping hot and stand for 1 minute.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Remove the lid and any outer packaging. Place on a baking tray at the top of the oven for 20 minutes or until piping hot.

❄️ ❄️ FROM FROZEN

MICROWAVE: Remove the lid and place it loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 7-8 minutes or until piping hot and stand for 1 minute.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Remove the lid and any outer packaging. Place on a baking tray at the top of the oven for 35 minutes or until piping hot.

I've loved cooking since I was young and it has been a source of confidence for me as well as a creative outlook. Surprised at how tasty this was as I'm not keen on potatoes

The pancakes were tasty although I expected them to keep their shape after heating but they were more like potato mash, so it wasn’t the texture that I expected. But still it’s a delicious comforting meal.
