A traditional Hungarian dish that has been cherished for generations. It is a hearty soup made with tender chunks of beef, potatoes, onions, dumplings, and a blend of warm spices such as paprika. We slow cook it to allow the flavours to develop together and the meat to become melt-in-your-mouth tender. We hope to transport you to Hungary!

Heating Instructions

As our food is hand-made by our chefs, these reheating instructions are a guide. Check your food is piping hot throughout before serving.

❄️ FROM CHILLED

MICROWAVE: Remove lid and place loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 4-5 minutes, stirring half way through. After heating, stir and stand for 2 minutes before serving.

HOB: Empty contents into a pan. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot. Stir before serving.

Meet Zoltan

Gulyás Garden

My love for cooking and socialising has often lead me to having lots of guests round holding dinner parties. They loved my food so much that I started my own food business called Gulyás Garden, specialising in Hungarian cuisine. I primarily cook traditional Hungarian food, like stews, stuffed cabbage, fish soup, vegetable sauces and breaded meats. These dishes are well known for warming the belly and the soul.

This was really tasty and the meat just fell apart. Decent portion. Its a really flavourful meal.

Heart soup

Hearty and filling soup. Liked the addition of little dumplings. Good mix of meaty chunks and vegetables. Not so keen on the level of spice or pepper, would like less.

Tasty

Filling and very tasty. Just the right balance between meat and vegetables. Meat is soft and I really enjoyed this meal.
