A hearty and flavourful meal in a bowl, this dish combines tender shredded chicken with a zesty Mexican-style rice. The chicken is slowly simmered until fall-apart tender. Topped with rice, tomato paste, garlic, onion, coriander, chicken, chipotle chilli, tomatoes, vegetable oil. Each bite delivers rich and complex flavours with just the right kick of heat. Satisfying and full of authentic Mexican flair.

Heating Instructions

As our food is hand-made by our chefs, these reheating instructions are a guide. Check your food is piping hot throughout before serving.

❄️ FROM CHILLED

MICROWAVE: Remove lid and place loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 4-5 minutes. Halfway through heating, add 2 tablespoons of water to rice and stir contents together. Re-cover and continue heating. Heat until piping hot and stand for 1 minute.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Remove lid and any outer packaging. Place on a baking tray at the top of oven for 20 minutes or until piping hot.

❄️ ❄️ FROM FROZEN

MICROWAVE: Remove lid and place loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 7-8 minutes. Halfway through heating, add 2 tablespoons of water to rice and stir contents together. Re-cover and continue heating. Heat until piping hot and stand for 1 minute.

I cook because we truly enjoy our own food. I have found joy for myself in cooking and discovered how easily you can share that joy by seeing people relishing our food. It's truly rewarding. We also want people to taste authentic Mexican food and feel as if they were eating from a “Taqueria” in Mexico.

Good Flavour

This dish has a good flavour and was overall quite nice. The chicken was a very very small amount, and the overall dish itself was small

Great portion. Chicken was brilliant.

The regular portion was surprisingly filling. Not too spicy. Authentic flavors. While I found the chicken perfect, the rice did come out a little dry. I made two fajita/burrito mini wraps using two flour tortillas. Perfect for Lunch and I would reorder.

Prefer the pork version better as it has more flavor.
