MICROWAVE: Remove lid and place loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 3-4 minutes, stirring half way through. After heating, stir and stand for 2 minutes before serving.

HOB: Empty contents into a pan. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot. Stir before serving.

The Whole Bowl

I'm Kate and I'm a North Londoner born and bred! I've had an appetite for cooking since I was 6 years old. It all started with my Grandma teaching me the basics, cooking from scratch and using lots of fresh ingredients. After many years of working in hospitality, I set up a catering company in 2005 pausing when my kids were little. I love big flavours and traditional methods of cookery and believe that food made with love tastes so much better!

Comfort food for a Southern Cal Gal

Our main snack food as teen-agers in LA was Mexican (well, Tex-Mex) and this robust and sustaining soup has the kick and depth of flavour of the genuine article.

My Review For the Lovely Black Bean Soup

Really lovely and filling soup with lots of flavour and good consistency , a good meal with bread. Reheats really well too .

I've ordered and loved this soup many times and it never disappoints, always full of flavour and for me, just the right amount of "kick"

Sorry I didn't take a photo, I was concentrating on the dishes that were being trialled by the Counci of Eaters.

Punchy soup, full of flavour and goodness. Large wasn’t really enough for two people, but that’s maybe because it was so delicious!
