❄️ FROM CHILLED

MICROWAVE: Heat on full power(950W) for 4-6 minutes. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes or until piping hot.

❄️ ❄️ FROM FROZEN

MICROWAVE: Heat on full power(950W) for 8-10 minutes. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes or until piping hot.

My name is Ming and I have been working hospitality experience for last 20 years. I enjoy cooking and running my restaurant located in South Wimbledon, London. Our menu is specialised in a modern Asian concept. Offering an array of Asian inspired classic dishes with a twist. Our sauces are house made, with no MSG and 100% natural & fresh ingredients.

Very tasty dish, but ….

I really enjoyed this meal, the flavours are perfect and the portion size was just about right. However, the sauce leaked into the rice which is not great. The packing needs to be re-thought so that the rice and the beef are separate from each other. A lot of the sauce was lost into the rice which was a disappointment. The dish ‘lost’ a star only on this basis.

This makes my taste buds zing! If I’m craving something salty and savoury this is my go to HomeCooks meal. Better than any takeaway blackbean I’ve had. The beef is so tender, the blackbean sauce so rich with a salty savoury umami flavour. Absolutely delicious and totally moreish!

Disappointing

Same issue as another reviewer. The sauce from the beef had leaked into the rice, which meant everything tasted of soy sauce. Badly leaked out of the container too. Regular portion contained small quantity of beef. I am afraid I was very disappointed overall with this meal.
