Afternoon Tea Cake Box

Imagine a delightful afternoon tea spread – a mini Raspberry Cheesecake, a bite-sized Dark Chocolate Brownie, a mini Black Forest Cake and a delicate Chocolate and Mango Mousse. Each piece tells a story of flavours – the sweet tartness of raspberries, the rich depth of dark chocolate, and the smooth fusion of chocolate and mango. There's also a classic Black Forest Cake, a timeless treat with layers of indulgence. And let's not forget the simplicity and warmth of freshly baked scones. Together, it's a medley of sweet moments and comforting bites, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon tea.

Heads up – it's not for vegans or vegetarians. It contains gelatine, and, just so you know, it's made from pork. So, if you're cool with that, dive into this creamy and fruity goodness!

Meet Bohus

Food has been my passion from an early age. I recall helping my grandfather on his farm growing fresh produce or my dad in the kitchen. Later, I moved to the UK having studied at a chef school in my country but my basic English meant I could only get a job as a kitchen porter. Eventually, the head chef gave me the opportunity to shadow him which I accepted with both hands. Now, I am an established executive head chef.

Packaging Issues

The scones were lovely with the butter and jam, however I think the jam I received Strawberry jam. The cakes I can't really comment on as they were all squished together. The packaging wasn't sufficient. The cakes would work better in individual boxes and then put in another box instead of a foil container. It's a shame I was unable to taste the cakes.

needs work still

very dry scones. whether that was because they were frozen I don’t know. again same as before mini jam and creams should come with it.

Appropriate portion sizes for the 4 cakes, as most were of a rich texture the square was enough to share a spoonful or eat as one person. But we’re extremely rich .
The scones both plain & fruit were the best both well risen, clean taste, flavour of fruit was sweet especially when warmed up.& buttered
Choc brownie was dense & very chocolatey
Both the mousse & cheesecake had good texture & creamy ness but lack flavour of raspberry & mango. The cake had yummy cream but also lacked black cherry flavour & had just the hint of chocolate .
Price point was as expected but cakes need a revamp. For the finished touch maybe a couple of teabags , butter pats or cream could be added then you have the start of a picnic tea

This was lovely but you do need to add mini condiments to go with the scones. Otherwise a tad dry! butter/jam & cream.
