I am a self-taught chef with a 15-year long passion for cooking. My journey started when I started watching Chef Heston Blumenthal's TV show. I was captivated by his innovative approach and the molecular gastronomy displayed, and I found myself drawn to the art and science of culinary techniques. This Ied me to start to infuse some of those modern techniques into my family business to elevate the food we provide.

My speciality is Authentic Mumbai Biryani

What is your favourite dish to eat and why?

My favourite dish and which holds a special fondness is Chinese duck and rice. This particular dish has captured my palate with its rich flavours, succulent meat, and harmonious blend of ingredients. Though it looks simple to make it's a pretty complex process.

What is your favourite dish to cook and why?

One of my all-time favourite dishes to cook is roast lamb shoulder with dauphinoise potatoes. It holds a special place in my heart as it embodies the perfect combination of classic flavours, meticulous cooking techniques, and the ability to create a comforting yet elegant dish.

What is your proudest cooking memory?

One of my proudest cooking memories is the moment I won the 3-star Great Taste Award for my mutton biryani. It was a defining achievement in my culinary journey. The journey towards perfecting my mutton biryani was a labour of love and it felt really good to be recognised for it.
